There's an awesome and beautiful irony about this being performed at the Tower of London where two of the six wives died- they're basically just flipping Henry VIII off and I absolutely love it

Izzy Griffiths the ones that are dancing at the beginning are randoms the ones with microphones are part of the cast be it west end cast or tour cast or alternates (the only one who started out as alternate was Shekinah (cleves, the one in red) she started as an alternate then basically started getting her own actual cleves costume when it was announced she would then move to the touring cast).

@@tajingaming9825 The ones in black outfits? They are the alts/swings. I know one of them (at the time of this performance) had just been promoted from alt/swing to main cast to be cleves but don't think that contract start for a few weeks before this performance. As for the people dancing before the alts/swings (the one in black jackets/costumes etc). I am not sure who they are tho. The ones who came in on those carts(? I cant think of their exact words at this time, been a long day at work today!!!) in costume they are the principle casts for the musical

I wonder what Princess Diana would've thought of this musical. Most likely, she would've adored the female-empowerment theme, and her blood connection to Anne Boleyn (she was descended from Anne's sister, Mary) would've added an extra dose of special.

@@Eli-sb1fg Yeah. I looked it up. Specifically, Diana was descended from Mary's son, Henry Carey. William and Harry actually have this heritage on BOTH sides! King Charles [RIP, Queen Elizabeth] is descended from Mary's daughter, Catherine Carey-Knollys. It appears that the Boleyn family got the proverbial last laugh. (9/13/2022)
