+James, God has a plan for your life that was established before the foundation of the world. He has given you specific gifts to accomplish His purpose for you. Ephesians 2.10, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Remember, God sees your heart. He knows that you desire to please Him. He will give you the wisdom and faith you need to move forward. God will never give up on you. He promises in the book of Philippians that He will complete the good work in you that He has begun, for it is He that works in you both to will and to do according to His good pleasure. I was somewhat disappointed not to hear the true gospel at the end. I confess you as my Lord and Savior? Its not about what we do but what He has done for us. He said to BELIEVE IN HIM. Why cant pastors preach that. Also this is the will of the Father... to BELIEVE on the One He has sent. Why are pastors so ashamed of the simplicity of the Gospel.

Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." At the end of this message, you heard Pastor Bayless invite every person under his voice to pray with him to openly declare that Jesus is Lord. There is definitely no shame involved in that, and we hope the above referenced scripture helps to put the end of this message into perspective.
