KD, Booker, Beal and a bunch of min deals. That’s what getting any max level player will look like. About 10-12M in space to sign a role player, the 8M room exception. And if they want to do a S&T with KMJ they’ll be hard capped.

I agree with you. But the main thing is Embiid has to stay healthy!!!!!!! In the playoffs you don’t run a deep roster anyways. They can fill out the roster with some shooters and they have some draft capital to get a couple pieces. Again… all this is on Embiid evolving this game… passing and relying on his teammates more…. making better decisions when he’s double and triple teamed… and losing weight.

Wrong. 6ers have 2 players in embiid and maxey that can be extended without hurting our cap. Suns only have booker in that regard. 6ers after signing whom ever for the bigger piece, can use a mid level exception, and use the bi annual this year to resign a player. And still have cap space to sign another player. Maybe even 2 depending on that contract and what they do with Reed. They only need to sign say 3-4 new players and resign 1-2 from last season which won’t be an issue. The issue is which players as they have choices to make themselves.

It won’t be exactly that. I can’t give you exact numbers, but remember our drafted players extensions can go over the cap. We have a mid level exception to sign a player. That won’t affect the pg money. And there’s the bi annual we can use this year. We can use it to sign a player we had last season. It was broken down a few weeks ago on phly sports. Then I’m sure we will get another vet minimum. In total the sixers need to sign like 5 more players. So pg, Ingram whom ever gets the bigger bite. That’s 1. Mid level players is 2 . Bi annual 3 . Money left over can get us 1-2 guys, and we can get a player on a vet minimum. I assume Bona stays on bench and McCain. So we should have a solid 8 man rotation for playoffs and one of the other bench guys will show promise to be 9 in rotation if need be.

Getting Paul George would be a stupid move by the star hunter. If they do get Paul, the sixers will be out of the first or second round of the play-offs again. I hope he goes to golden state or Orlando.

Greedy? If a team was gonna offer me a max contract, why am I taking less? To do them a favor? Oh I want to take 10mil less per year so the team can sign an unknown that may or may not help us win? No. The teams need to have it figured out. Nobody is turning down max money if it’s offered on a new team. Lebron situation is different. He’s been with that team, pg might be going to a different team. Lebron knows this will likely be it for him, so it makes more sense for him to take less at this stage for him. Pg is a few years younger, and this kind of money isn’t forever. Take what you can get. Greedy is asking for more than offered.

But I’d advise the Ingram trade for obvious reasons and mainly Ingram has a little more want to than pg. maybe nurse can get more out of him. They are realistic options, so they will be discussed. You have a better trade target no one knows about? Or a free agent that no one knows about? Please tell us and the front office who to get. They have the money. Pg like other 2nd and 3rd options have good games and bad games. Luka, Tatum, Kyrie,Edward’s, Kat, etc etc all have had bad games in important games. The point is to construct a team to alleviate as much as that off each others shoulders so no one player has to carry the offense.

Remember this… remember the ball movement the Knicks played with when Randle was out the lineup. Randle is good but he stops the ball movement a lot of the times and he can only drive left.
