I could have said the same things being said about Jarod McCain, for Jaden Springer. Sixers spent all that time to develop Springer, who was an elite defender with offensive promise. Then in order to get under the Lux Tax, while bringing in Buddy Hield (that didn't work out). It's ashamed that Springer doesn't get much PT playing for Boston. So if necessary, Morey would also trade McCain.

Jaden was trash. I never understood the hype. He was the equivalent of Zhaire Smith. Good defender that has a clearly broken jumpshot and no real NBA handle.

@@johnsondoeboy2772 You are absolutely wrong. Zhaire Smith actually would have been pretty good if he didn't have major health setbacks. He's not bad today, but at his current age, he probably won't get much of a chance. People who use the term "trash" don't know anything about basketball. No one who plays in the NBA is trash. Morey only traded Springer because he was required to get under the Luxury Tax, while going ahead with the Buddy Hield deal which was a failure. The fact the BOS gave Morey a 2nd rd pic, to take Springer's contract, (knowing that Morey was desperate to get under the luxury tax) is all the evidence one needs to know that BOS LOVES Springer. Springer's improvement in 2 yrs was OUTSTANDING, including his shooting form and the many ways he could score in the paint, etc. Elite defense too. Morey used the excuse about Sixers being in Win-Now mode, but the Lux Tax was the real reason. Because the Sixers got under the Lux Tax, they are no longer a concern to be a Repeater Team for several years. That is they will be a 1st Apron team this year and next, without worries of the Repeater Tax (which most fans don't understand). Once again unfortunate that Springer can't get more playing time, but clearly BOS who is a WIN-NOW team, sees Springer as a replacement for Jrue Holiday some day.

Keith is at the stage of I've been hurt too much. When he started listing off past players and said 2nd round playoff exit's if lucky. Thats his PTSD kicking in. You know you hurt when the team does what YOU asked them to do and you still go but what about....Also Keith the Sixers are better than the Knicks they ain't have a way to stop JoJo while on 1 leg with bells palsy and can't stop him now. Seems Guerschon used his time wisely when his first go around in the NBA didn't work out. He'll now have the opportunity to face off with the team that drafted him (the Celtics) a couple of times in the regular season & likely in Eastern Conference playoff games. Sixer's are certainly a much different team than they were last season & would seem on paper have a lot better roster that's near if not _the_ best in the league (at least on par with the Celtic's & ahead of the Knick's, come on Keith.. 🙄). Will be lot to ask of the coaching staff to get all these new pieces to work together & yes a big ❓how fast they will all gel. Team chemistry won't happen overnight, but with good players hopefully it will shorten 'the process' 😉.

Had a lot of field goal attempts and was terrible in efficient shots selection.
