Last year I tried it and it worked wonderfully. I lost 25 pounds, but unfortunately I went back to my old habits and now I feel like crap. Please pray that God would give me the strength to go back on it.

I love this story! We were missionaries and I have six kids and one with DS too! It was to dangerous for me to walk around but I bought a treadmill. It was expensive because it was imported but it was my lifesaver while serving. I would love to donate shoe money.

What a wonderful woman. I’m amazed at her outlook on life. I believe living in the Philippines has humbled her and she certainly has humbled me. She looks forward to a salad or a walk or a decent pair of shoes. These are things I take advantage of here in the states with all my creature comforts. What a selfless beautiful soul!

Loved the sincere interview. Nikki for your info please look at Hoka brand running shoe. As an ex ultra marathoner who is also just looking forward to her daily walk I can recommend this brand. It is the best support and well cushioned shoe on the market. Feels like walking on air or marshmallows. Buy one size bigger than your usual size. High five on your weight loss maintenance. Be blessed in your outreach journey ❤

I have hit a plateau for about 10 weeks. Still sticking to 16:8 day, but a few times I was hungry in the evening so I ate. Also, exercising now too. Will be interesting to see what happens when the lbs. start cimung down again.

Thank you for this interview. So many people lost so much weights drastically. I started IF about 4 months now and haven’t shed any lbs. Makes me feel like it’s not working for me.

Sometimes you need a shorter eating window, other times you just take awhile to respond. Don't give up. Adjust your window and see if that gets things moving 😊

Hi dear, I have a question for you. Even though I am fat adapted and I do make ketones (I measure it via blood test) I can not fast longer than 18-20 hours as I feel dizzy and get weird less cognitive function. Do you know what can be the issue?
@everyonehasanopinion00000 Жыл бұрын
18-20 hours is a great fasting window. I also experience dizziness if I go too long and am not exactly sure why but I do find that, for me, taking a pinch of pink salt on my tongue clears it up. Pink Himalayan salt is full of minerals that deplete when we dilute ourselves with lots of water.

I am finding it a struggle mentally with all of this time of not eating throughout the day even though I am not hungry it is the routine of having a real coffee or tea with milk while checking emails that I find myself wanting food or drink. How do you mentally get your day sorted. I take walks and do exercise but there are hours at home just staring at me. Any tips for the mental challenge?

How do you get a hundred and twenty plus grams of protein in doing omad?
@everyonehasanopinion00000 Жыл бұрын
I don't. I am still able to build muscle without the commonly-recommended amount but a protein shake would be a great way to get more if you feel you need it.

Can you drink herbal tea while fasting?
@everyonehasanopinion00000 Жыл бұрын
If it does not have a sweet or Fruity profile it's probably OK. Green, black, camomile, regular lipton...all safe for your fasting window with no added sweetener
