Wouldn’t it make sense for the Hawks-Mavs trade never happen. The only reason they did the trade was because the Mavs wanted Luka so the Hawks drafted him for the Mavs and the Hawks wanted Young so they traded players and the Mavs giving the 2019 1st round pick. With Luka no longer on the board, the trade would’ve never happened.

I don't know why people do re-draft videos from like the last draft or the draft two years ago. Teams don't draft based on immediate production. They draft based on what they believe the player will produce over the course of their career. Like Luka Doncic has had the best rookie season, but I'm pretty sure that if there was an actual re-draft irl the Suns would still take Deandre Ayton at 1.
