Thank the lord the owner actually gave the GM power this time. He gets to hire his own HC, hire his own #2 instead of Weaver, brought in Vinsent which is awesome. Curious to see who the HC will be. I’d love if it was Atkinson tbh. He was about to take the CHA job, but they wouldn’t let him pick his own staff and pay all their salaries lol. This was still MJ so obv cheap AF. There was some BS about him changing his mind bc of family or w/e, but it’s since been confirmed it was bc of the assts. He’s making 4/10 in GS, so I’m hoping they can offer him like 5/35 or something fully gtd and he can be the HC with job security as they build. Hopefully they get lucky w the draft pick whoever it is, and bringing in Vinsent will help a ton.

Would it really be that outlandish to think Langdon comes in and decides to trade Cade? Next draft looks amazing. They could try out all the other guys on the team and deal Cade to stay at the bottom. A team like The Spurs could give them tons of draft capital and he’d fit awesome. That also moves a bottom team out of the bottom. They ought to angle towards getting Cooper Flagg. Thoughts?

The pistons are terrible because they’re *trying to* rush their rebuild. It pains me everytime I see a 3rd option on a championship team at best mocked to them or an overpaid role player mocked to them just so they can maybe win 30 games. They’re only gonna handicap themselves further into the future and won’t be in championship contention anytime soon.

NGL Matt sometimes you get a little too swung on the players you rebuild. Cunningham was not robbed of All NBA, especially with those stats on a middle of the pack team.. All NBA is the leagues top 15.. Cade maybe was top 30ish if that. Felt alot like when you got upset for Maxey not getting MVP in a rebuild.. when all he did was put up points for most of the rebuild seasons. Its just about the awareness that most of these players are not even close to MVP or top 15 for All NBA. Good rebuild overall though bud.. @KrispyFlakesNBA would be happy!
