@junkers66Ай бұрын
@@andreaslarsson1966 You understood wrong: All contract soldiers from Russia fall into the category of "fighting far from their home(land) for money". Talking about mercenaries: Russia is openly and actively trying to recruit soldiers from overseas by the means of offering money. Men from various Asian and African and Arab countries have gone to take up weapons because of the money lure. Most don't have any real interest in the reason for the conflict. Foreigners fighting in the Ukraine are not doing for money, as the Ukraine does not offer lucrative pay. They do it because of the cause --> fighting against Russian imperialism.

Tanks becoming like metal coffins in war these days. Sad.
@Rocket_scientist_88Ай бұрын
Not sad when there are russian invaders inside them. What is sad is that russia (putin, really) made the terrible decision to invade Ukraine in the first place. Or better yet, that he tried to plant his puppet Viktor Yanukovych as president inside Ukraine… and when Yanukovych tried to use his Berkut thugs to break up the peaceful demonstrations during the Maidan Revolution, the people responded by resisting even more. No, putin’s tactics didn’t work inside Ukraine - the Ukrainian people had enough of Russkyi Mir. What was sad was that putin has been trying - and is still trying - to gobble up Ukrainian territory. What’s SAD are the terrorist attacks russia commits daily on Ukrainian soil. What’s SAD is that it is taking the world so long to realize russia is a paper tiger, they are not a superpower and haven’t been since 1991, and we have to stop treating them like they’re a great nation. They are not. They are a large nation whose army is being steadily depleted, and who commits terrorist acts on Ukraine soil every day. That’s the only sad thing here.

Waging war is not winning or losing, it's neither a victory, a stalemate or a draw,, but it's losing everything and everyone, including your dearest and beloved someone,, being initiated and propagated by a wicked and an evil one.
The vice-president of the Academy of Geopolitical Forecasting, Doctor of Military Sciences (this is his official title) Konstantin Sivkov, who likes to cite delusions in several Slovak media disseminating Russian propaganda (for example, here, but also here and also here), has recently pointed out one of the possible effective ways in which Russia could attack the United States of America with little catastrophic consequences for the United States. Vele is considering firing nuclear weapons into supervolcanic territory in Yellowstone National Park. "Geologists believe that the Yellowstone supervolcano can erupt at any time, there are signs of increasing volcanic activity in the area. Therefore, it is enough to initiate a relatively small atom explosion at a given place. But its consequences would be catastrophic for the United States - they would simply disappear," Sivkov told the Russian periodical VPK News.
Spare a thought for ALL of the young men, who would rather be at home with their families. The only people coming out on top are the arms manufacturers. As usual.
