Man, this movie was so close to scraping by without any major Japanese language errors, then at the very end my man had to go and say “the code of the bushida” instead of “the code of the bushidō” 😂😭 Also “bushidō” already means “code of the samurai” so he basically said “the code of the samurai code” but at that point we’re splitting hairs.

So interesting tidbit I just learned. Hannon who plays the Samurai cop, was irritated that the directed was only doing one take of a scene and moving on. So he started purposefully messing up od delivering his lines horribly think there was no way it would make it past the cutting room floor. But they all did. Also the director did about 80% of the ADR work. Oh! And they had to wear their own clothes and drive their own cars, so did they shoot up Frank’s real car? And the last thing I found that was interesting (pathetic) there was no sound for the actors that’s why it sounds like it’s in a tin can most of the time. Or can’t hear them at all.
