Yaaaaaaaaaaaaan...super great. Starter/Intermediate reference works for foreigners focus too much on 3 patterna of formal AY or AVB ANG NG SA or OVB NG ANG SA...but when we listen to Modern Tagalog SPEECH...we only hear about 20% of those forms...soooooooooooooooooo great to hear many more patterns. MAraming Salamat!

Hi, thanks and I have a question. Why "Bata ba siya" and payat siya, but then it changes to Siya ay kahanga-hanga? Why is it not Kahanga-hanga Siya???

verb siya ni tao - person does(action) to him/her verb niya ni tao - his/her verb to tao.

Is it fair to say all Ang Pronouns can be substituted for the Siya patterns here and all Ng Pronouns can be substituted in Niya patterns here?

Good question, Mac. Yes, you may do so. There's one exception in the Ang Group though. You can't use KITA in these situations: 1. Maganda kita. (should be MO) 2. Ang ganda kita. (should be MO) 3. May lagnat kita. (should be KA) But you can use KITA with Gusto, Ayaw and Kailangan. Maraming salamat sa suporta mo sa channel. Ingat po. 😊😊

You are giving examples on when to use niya and when to use siya, but the reasoning behind this isn't clear. You use niya when you have a verb in passive voice and siya when you have a verb in active voice, is that so?
