Siya Kolisi delivered a heartfelt tribute to Coach Russie and expressed gratitude for the coach's unwavering support and belief in his talent since their early days together. Kolisi praised Coach Russie's leadership style, which prioritised unity, inclusivity, and addressing important societal issues openly. He acknowledged the coach's role in instilling values that extend beyond rugby and emphasised the shared goal of making South Africa proud under Coach Russie's continued guidance.
“I want to say congratulations to coach Rassie, he really deserves it. He gave me my first contract when I was 18, so I have experienced everything that he has done. I was very naughty, and he guided me."

That is powerful. Truth is sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes in some spaces especially corporate, black people feel compelled to hide themselves. Leadership that says I see you and I respect what you value is so appreciated.

Siya is such a beautiful human being. He was a diamond in the rough and just needed a Rassie to pick him out of the rough and smooth him down a bit and now we all in SA bask in the shine of that diamond called Siya. We all are proud to know this diamond comes from the rough soil of South Africa 🇿🇦 Let's all treasure that diamond. Strength and honor Rassie and Siya and Die Bokke!!

you're so blinded by your whiteness that you don't realise that Siya is talking about how 95 brought the country together and thus became important to EVERYONE...but I don't expect you to understand.
@anthonymokootherock1362

Before 1995, it was exclusive, it didn't represent all, Francois pienaar's iconic image is part of south Africa's folklore, You would not think unity without that iconic image, Siya knows fully well that there's been Oom boy Louw and Avril Malan and Jan Ellis,but those are not his heroes,so 1995 cultivated what we have today,one team one nation didn't start in the Doc craven era, Siya is very intentional about 1995, no one of colour celebrated the Springboks in 1976 during the Soweto uprisings, context is very important when such things are being touched on,1995 is very deliberate.
