Yep! He is a fantastic player, I feel if he works on attacking the gain line/positioning he’ll be a special player. There shouldn’t be a rush to call him up for the Springboks yet. We should give him a full season at the sharks next year and see what he can do. But he’s a class player.

It’s based on the fact that people are saying he should play for the springboks in the upcoming July series, to which I gave my opinion on what he needs to work on. He’s the perfect flyhalf for the sharks and I’m sure Plum is happy with him at the moment. Secondly I’m an ardent rugby supporter and just like you and many others ,we should have the right to share our views on the game as well as on the players otherwise what’s the point of being a follower of the game? Surely we don’t need a coaching licenses or have WC coaching experience to make observations on the game?!?

Mine was to say the selection is for coaches. During Meyer’s time we were told Cheslin was too small, that Siya was not ready at 6 and that Deon wasn’t good enough. Look what these players have us when given a chance by Rassie. Yes, debating about preferring Pollard to Manie is for sports fans but who is ready and who is not is fox coaches as we don’t know these players’ work ethic and cultural fit in the Boks like the coaches would

Masuku , pretty special, the hierarchy I believe for the boks 2024, start of international season for the selection of flyhalf will be : 1. Pollard ; 2 : Libbok ; 3 : Nohamba, bearing injury of course.

He has won 4 Man of the Match awards in a row. He had 2 cross-field kick try assists last week. And has had other try assists in those 4 matches.

He is a better round player,good distributor but didn't show a lot of it in this game, he is a good attacking 10,with time you will get to see that,he takes more flatter than he dis in this game, libbok beats only with pace,libbok is very fast outpaces most wings,either than that not much,he has the temperament to play at the highest level, dead eye goal kicker, pretty efficient defender,I have followed him from the lions under 21 side, not a lot of people are aware that he was at the lions as a junior, went to play club rugby in Rustenburg, before eventually going to the cheetahs. So the talent has always been there,unfortunately most of them fall of the rails,it's opportunities that matter and not a lot of players get them,having said that,Mngomezulu is even a finer prospect, noone has his game nouse,not even the great Handre has that,Masuku should make it within the sharks environment because it will allow him to.

He's not replacing Pollard, he's not leap frogging Libbok for a Sprinbok Jersey. He kicks well, but that's about it. A Springbok fly half needs more than just a boot. That's probably the reason Rassie won't select him. Sure he won man of the match 4 times, but that doesnt mean anything. Need to stop hyping him up to be something that he isn't.
