Masaki Yamada, the singer for EZO, was in Loudness from 1992 to 2000 so I can see where there might be some confusion. Anyway, I'm glad this version of Loudness played this song live.

I saw EZO open for GnR in 1987 on the first national tour Guns did, not many really knew either band at the time, but especially EZO - both were pretty awesome though. America really missed (misses) out when it comes to Asian Metal bands.
@HandlebarOrionX5 жыл бұрын
America misses out on asian music in general. Even the pop acts come and go in fluke fans in the mainstream music world. Western mainstream audiences generally are closed minded to anything in a foreign language unless there's an english version of a collaboration with an American or Brittish act everybody knows.

I miss EZO(Masaki, Taro, Shoyo & Hiro in makeup). I bought this album for my graduation gift. I like this band's version too. The lead guitarist at times is like, " no problem!"👍

Losing the makeup was the worst move ever.
@charlesrobinson74694 күн бұрын
@@rodneystanger1651 Yeah, they did 3 videos. 1 full makeup/costume(flashback) 2. just the black makeup (here it comes) 3. Nothing(kiss of fire) They made that drastic change all in their debut album here in the US. I think they should've done it over time, it would've made better since & at least gotten more fans familiar with who they were.👍🏾
@rodneystanger16514 күн бұрын
@@charlesrobinson7469 TY for fast reply. The make up had such a unique vibe, and it was so good. I can understand being tired of it, very involved and look like it took some time to do, but I think in the long run they could have been huge because of it. I agree, phase it out over time and in the beginning really play into the Japanese/Kubuki culture.
Probably the best Rock Band I've heard in years and years. Why aren't they STILL touring, specially here in the States.... we freaking need bands like this to keep Rock Relevant.

To clarify this video for those who don't know, this is the Masaki/Akira era of Loudness, it was basically EZO with Akira playing guitar, though their songs were a combination effort of the two. I personally prefer Loudness's legacy and the evolution of the band from the 80's to now, though Masaki Yamada is an awesome vocalist who pulled off english singing (I'm not sure if he actually knows english)
