Superimposed it! A somewhat lost art in videos. Never saw it done in real life videos. So helpful and really beautiful!

Hats off to whoever came up with this idea for how to demonstrate the size difference. Well done!

That was some of the most effective science communication and education I’ve ever seen. If a picture says a thousands words, that short clip was a textbook. Well done.

Oh man!! I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! I can see all the difference in a perfectly perfect comparison. Tail length, face shapes, hair length... all of it... everything I always wanted to know more precisely. Still life side by side photos just can't express what this video does. I'm watching over and over. Thank you so much! Sorry I can't hit the like button more than once. 👍 x 1,000,000

I see coyotes often, wolves only sometimes. I've seen adolescent wolves and even their height and face shape give it away. Mature wolves there certainly isn't a question. I respect both big time. Imagine being a coyote in wolf country.......better have your head on a swivel!

Are the coyotes in Voyageurs considered Eastern Coyotes? Meaning generally larger than their western cousins.

Growing up and living in the SW United States, I saw coyotes on hundreds of occasions, in wilderness, rural, suburban and urban environments. The animal you describe would likely be a coyote-dog hybrid, don’t you think?
