Nice video, but you are assuming everybody charges with an alternator. My experience is that far more people charge with solar and a DC/DC charger from their engine battery. Not having to link the BMS with the alternator is a huge advantage. The risk of thermal runaway is much reduced. I have never seem a lifepo4 battery that set alight from thermal runaway. I would love to see any photographs published if you have them. The ISO is not helpful to the average cruiser with lithium onboard. Demanding a link to lithium batteries will render the ISO useless simply because nobody will follow it. Why do I need a command to stop charging with my alternator if I am not doing so? The ABYC standard is fsr more reasonable
