Good to see him performing live and I'm glad it was documented. I just wish Sizzla would rethink his stage show. He has such an amazing singing voice and he never uses it live. He just strains his voice and yells and the band is too loud for his vocals to shine through. Its the same snare drum slamming "pull up"s over and over. That same step up double tempo every 30 seconds gets monotonous. It would be nice if he could slow the groove down and allow these amazing songs to breathe. Really bring them to life and allow his amazing vocal melodies to shine like he does in studio. Maybe an acoustic set, or just a much more mellow playing band with full versions of the songs instead of the endless medley of snippets. People want the true essence of his great music, not hyped up yelling half versions where he points the mic to the crowd to finish nearly every line. Get back to the basics. Enough with the hypeness and the "pull up"s. He's got too much substance for that. He needs to slow it down instead of pull it up. If you had never heard Sizzlas music before and you saw only this show, you would have no idea how great of a singer and lyricist he actually is. I just feel the kind of show he does doesnt do him justice.

SIZZLA IS THE KING OF REGGAE AND WHEN THE CROWD IS A BORING UNAPPRECIATIVE CROWD LIKE THIS ONE THE KING RUNS THROUGH HIS SETS.. AND HE HAS THAT MUCH MUSIC THAT HE CAN DO THAT AND HE IS ALWAYS FULLY ENERGETIC. THIS IS STAGESHOW CULTURE AND YOU NEED TO GO TO 🛌 AND WORK ON YOUR DAMN LITTLE MORTAL SELF

My guy, I understand your sentiment but this is a set for a carnival/festival. The set is compressed and delivered to keep things exciting. No one wants to go to a festival to have a drawn out performance of an artist singing full songs and leaving feeling like they didnt hear the full range of his catalogue. There are many sets of his that are lengthy and provide the full length songs, look for his performance with an orchestra that he's done I think in 2020 or 21. The man has range and versatility in his deliveries. Doing wellllll for stoll being relevant and booked ul after almost 40 years.

Thanks for this feedback as a fan, but it's too rigid and lack a deeper understanding of music; themes and the essence of the exact space an artist like Sizzla performs in. He gets feedback from different people like you have written this piece. He knows when to give more bars. Feedback is necessary but Sizzla is not so unaware as you came across here. This is not where he can be expected to slow it down whilst performing at a festival. Do more streaming of his performances and you'll see where your suggestion fits in. He's not the EXACT as you described in each space. Do you know exactly what goes into preparing for each show? I think your feedback could be more balanced. With all the things he needs to do and continues to work on, he is still a great performer.
