Tc is actually the temperature after which gas cannot liquify whereas tb is the temperature where real gas changes to ideal gas over short range of low pressure. They both are different terms At TC gas shows real behaviour and above that ideal. While at tb real gas obeys Boyles law ie (it behaves as ideal gas).
