Thanks for watching! I hope you make one of these for yourself. It's so cool. I learned a lot building this contraption. Some things I'd do differently... 1. Add blackstone to the list filters. There's a lot of it in the Nether 2. I'd also add glass because it would be so cool to make a full glass tunnel with this in an ocean, or lava lake. 3. Make a glass enclosure around the seat because the wall building is not completely infallible. If you run into a giant vein of gravel under a lava lake, you'll get flooded. 4. Add one more drill to remove the block that the track will be placed on. I'm already replacing that block in this design. That'll remove any blocks, like walls, that cannot get a track placed on them. Any other suggestions? let me know!

Use a redstone torch instead of a block to speed up the moving forward process. currently its taking up an extra block destruction cycle just to move forward :P

@jangrogames10 ай бұрын
@@ensarblackbird3347 it’s hard to say without knowing anything about your computer. Make sure you have enough memory allocated to the modpack. Prominence is big and may need 8gb. Try playing on a public server which will remove some of the things your own computer needs to do when in single player.

I concur with another commenter. It's really great that you make it a tutorial + let's play and put a lot of effort into buildings and such, instead of just shortcutting progress 👍 I like the idea of different ender eye to open the end portal, it really is way too easy to get to the end in vanilla. Although, it shouldn't depend on luck too much or it'll get frustrating quickly...
@jangrogames10 ай бұрын
Thanks! I also like the idea of the different eyes. But. SO. MANY. OF. THEM. You need 12 unique eyes. I haven't really tried to get that many of them yet, so I can't say how luck-dependent it is. The one Jungle structure I've been through so far turned up empty. And wait until you see the dragon fight. Also amped up to 11 relative to vanilla.
@houseking92116 ай бұрын
@@jangrogames I think it's a little tedious to get 12 unique eyes, but I'm all for a much much harder ender dragon fight, I think that it's way too easy in basegame

Who says tunnels are boring? You can get a slightly smoother/faster ride if you go with redstone torches instead of blocks. And yeah, you already noticed it needs a drill to prepare the space for the block the track gets placed on. Nice bore.
@jangrogames10 ай бұрын
oh good call Chris. I wish I tried that to show the difference. I used blocks because they're waterproof, but of course with this design you _shouldn't_ need to worry about that. I'll be rebuilding this to work out some of the things I wish I did differently. I'll try that.

Love the creativity (pun intended?) - this is certainly a great way to get a tunnel network created in the world. Thanks for all the hints and problem solving... I had no idea the deployers could just move through blocks until they find a void; so much to learn! Good luck with the eyes.

Thanks! I’ve really never done that much with contraptions because of the learning curve. It’s great being able to just put together contraptions to do what you need. I just made one to flatten a big area next to the base, a simpler variation of the tunnel bore

you will find quite a few mineshafts in the nether if you are boring through the lower levels, so 1 more drill to carve out the block you are placing the track on will be needed. otherwise, great tutorial!
@jangrogames10 ай бұрын
I went another thousand blocks and through like three more massive mineshafts and it didn't happen again, so it's a very small chance. Glad it happened in the video for academic purposes! Next bore build will have that additional drill for sure.

this tunnel thing is really cool! i went diamond mining today and ended up with 1300 diamonds! i have a vein mining pick with boon of the earth what is giving me diamond ores, and then i use an other pick to turn those in 4 diamonds eage, i got fortune 4 and a scarf what gives more fortune, i have the charm of flying right now so that makes it so much easy too and i made an extendable arm from gleaming dust so my reaching is realy far. i saw that botania had a ring with even more reack on it i gonna try it too, if this doesnt work out well enough for ores you could always try this :D

I built one today before I watched this vídeo because it went into a pool o lava, and I didn't have the deployers in front like you. I didn't die because I had a lot of fire resistance, but I could not retrieve it because my mine cart got destroyed by the lava. Is there any way I can protect the cart?
@jangrogames27 күн бұрын
ouch. After you break an item into an entity, I don't think there's any protecting it from lava. Unless you can pick it up quickly enough. I'd try to build around it and keep the lava away.

Nice tunnel bore! By the way, aren't soul sand/soil gravity blocks? If so, having those in the filter would break the machine if they are placed at the wrong time (for example leaving an air gap where the rail goes).
@jangrogames10 ай бұрын
Thanks! I had the same fear after the fact, but I can confirm that after running this machine 1000 blocks in the nether (which didn't make the video), part of which went through a soul sand valley, they are not gravity blocks. :)

Jangro is there a way to remove glue because I really hope I don’t have to rebuild the whole thing the blocks on the outside are sticking
@jangrogames10 ай бұрын
Yes. If you mean a splotch of glue on the face of a chassis. I think you crouch click with empty hand. If it’s an area glue I forget exactly but I think you crouch left click (maybe right?) the area you want to remove with the glue. Anyway it is possible.

is it possible to speed the drill thats mining the red stone block up?
@jangrogames5 ай бұрын
No it’s pretty slow because it just takes that long to mine the redstone block. Use redstone torches with a plow to go faster. But that’s more fragile as water will break the torches.
