No, you are not the only one that thinks that. But like he said you get what you pay for. the point that this guy was making is, I think, is the fact that you have the option to use an external mic and it is a great option on the camera. There are better mics with a lot better sound to it. I am gonna by this camera for sure.

Yours is a newer model, like mine. SJCAM removed the HDMI Port.
