This was an amazing concert. My boyfriend and I are to the right in the front. U2 has been my lifelong favorite band. My dream was to be upfront. It was almost perfect. Bono was incredible as always

Fantastic performance! Lots of people were criticizing Bono's voice at the start of this tour, but he sounds spectacular here for a 63-year-old. And for it to be this strong on a difficult song like this one is close to amazing.

I think he can still sing, I just think he has gotten a tad lazy e.g his timing, skipping words, talking lyrics instead of singing them. This is factual, it's not an attack.

@@Finnbarrs have you heard his audiobook? Just his reading voice is awesome! 💯

@@Finnbarrsevery old singer kinda just does that. it’s related to losing raw power over time, meaning more energy is put into getting the notes out over making it perfect. Bono still has impressive range-see Where the Streets Have No Name, most people just can’t sing that chorus, period-but he’s just too old to constantly fire it off like it’s 1988 again.

My first U2 concert was ZooTV in 1992. I wish I could see this ZooTV revival at the sphere. But in a way, I won't miss that show. Without Larry it just sounds wrong. This back-up drummer is just a generic musician. He doesn't play at all like Larry. The popular belief would say drummers have no personality but is it far from the truth. Led Zep did not replace Bonham, The Who sounded totally different without Moon and Nirvana sounded totally fresh and new with Grohl. This makes no exeption. U2 is not U2 without Larry. U2 is all about rhythm at every position. Even The Edge is more like a rhythmic guitarist than a melodist playing a million notes.
