I get it you need to put enough water in a plastic bag with large oxygen inside. But what i dont get is that why would you put half bucket of water on flowerhorns when they are almost lying and cant usually swims?.. is it to avoid them jumping? It gives more stress on fish i think.

Bro that fish is called in English indian shovelnose catfish 🐠 in Hindi tangra fish it found in India & nepal 🇮🇳 in up & bihar north side mostly like ghagra river which is comes from nepal also found in gangas river it grow up to 4 to 5 feet long with big whiskers ... Damn that's cheap.... one flowerhorn over there of that quality is priced at 80 baht. But over here a fish like that would cost at least Rs 2k.

Yes. That's great for Thai local hobbyists. I was too surprised after knowing the flowerhorn price. But would also like to add that here we get high grade quality, medium and low grade quality and prices depend on that. Also Indian seller has to pay shipping charges, packing charges, importer fees and other expenses keeping the fish well after bringing at shop. So according to me prices of flowerhorn or any other fish here are fair enough.

Info for all : Thailand exports fish to all countries, but as a private person you cannot expect delivery. Only resellers with large quantities are supplied. Shipping takes place via air freight, since fish usually have to have a lot of water and that weighs a lot, the air freight costs are high. Fish also die on the way from time to time. These losses and the freight costs make the prices rise a lot...that's why the prices in the destination countries are much higher than here in the market in Bangkok. So you have to buy from the local dealer...that's the "normal way" unfortunately there's no other way...
