I have a story. In 1991 I watched this video over and over until I mimicked the best Dholi Mall. I had it down packed. I played the Dhol in Toronto Canada to thousands of people over the decade back then. Mall was my inspiration and this video here brought back many memories. Something about the Dhol that can absorb the human mind and take over the body and make one dance like he/she is free. The Dhol will forever be the percussion instrument of the world. Even when we perish the Dhol will always be alive. Thank you Apna Sangeet for bringing us the first Bhangra modern infusion back then. Brrruuaahhhh !!!!
