All of my external drives are either SATA SSDs in an external case or even HDD's in external cases. I have one external drive case for NVME. That one I use for cloning, not for storing data.

should you recommend me beetle for editing purpose or i go for custom made nvme i am using macbookpro with m2pro generally working on fcpx and after effects
