I don't care what anyone else says Zutara all the way. So disappointing the creators didn't make Zutura the end game. I can't stand Mai. There's something so electric about Zutara. So glad Zuko and Mai broke up again after he became Fire Lord. Don't believe me look it up :p.

@sylviajohns I think you may have missed a big part of the show. I think the only reason she went with azula to seek the avatar is because she knew zuko would be after him as well and that would be the only way to see or posibly help him. She seems to have never forgot him.

I love both pairings. Although I lean more towards mai and zuko just because they make up what each other lacks. same with katara and aang. Just my opinion though. I really like this vid despite my preference.

@IrelandVonVicious I agree with you. Mai and Zuko do care about each other a lot and people tend to just hate the pairing just because they don't like Mai. After seeing episodes like the Boiling Rock which was epic I don't understand how anyone could hate Mai and that she doesn't care about Zuko. Mai had to sacrifice a lot to save Zuko and I seriously doubt Katara would do the same for him (i.e. betraying her nation, going against Azula)

The funniest thing about people wanting zuko with another girl is none of those girls would want him. Mai is the only girl in the series that has the patiance to deal with his anger issues. Sure toph might have been able to hang with him enough after he works through all his issues. Mai was in love with zuko for himself from day one. Zuko and Mai were the best couple in the entire series as far as the idea of true love goes.

He left her with a note. Odds are it said something about how he had to do something that he didn't want to drag her into. If you watch the relationship between them you'll notice it's more of the love you see between adults and less of the puppy love you see between the other characters. I can't imagine any reason she would have gone looking for him.
