I played DOTA, I played LoL, I played Paragon and I still settled for Smite. Even if most of the entities in mythological lore are made up... it still has its roots in reality, whereas the other MOBAs create their own Universes or use existing ones. Thats why I like Smite way more then the others.

So the reason why dota and league players don't want to play another moba is bc they've already spent thousands of dollars on that game and they don't want to commit to another one that is similar....

Lol and dota2 found a way to make moba’s fun. Imagine uour first game of smite and you try to hit an auto. Its impossible lol. Hirez ruined smite by pleasing the sweats and not catering to brand new players

Servers are down every patch day. There is incredible lag even when it is on. We occasionally encounter server crashes and lag. Apart from that, the punishment system in the game is not fair at all. When he sees someone from the lobby that he does not want to play with, he can leave the player as he wishes. This way I know you can't find a game in 30 minutes. The low number of players was already a big problem for this game. Now the number of players has completely hit the bottom and is unplayable. We also see ridiculous bugs after every patch. Smite is seeing the worst period in its history. Smite got even worse than the hype was supposed to be, thanks to Smite 2. If we have to compare it under moba games, LoL or Dota are at least 10 times better games than Smite. Naturally, the number of players is many times higher. I attribute what keeps Smite's core audience to its third party and mythology-based nature. I haven't played the game for about 5 years and was following it from afar. I wanted to give it a little chance for 1 month. But things got worse and unfortunately I'm quitting again :(. You are one of the most beautiful and successful publishers I have ever seen, Incon.
