Skam France really said Happy Pride Month tonight...Lola and Maya said let's arrange the DVD's tonight. Also literally everyone needs to watch this clip with 23 by Chase Atlantic (slowed + reverb) in the background....with it, it made this the best thing I've even seen, no question.

fun fact: according to flavie and ayumi's interview, this scene was completely improvised. directors and cameramen left them alone in the room. the scene was shot in 40 minutes. also because flavie was so nervous, ayumi comforted her by saying "i'm here" all the time. this is their favorite scene.

This is pure art and one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever seen full of such pure and genuine love, passion, and connection. This scene represents so much, for Lola especially; Lola's vulnerability, she finally feels safe to love and share it with someone, she feels comfortable, accepted, and loved. She's letting someone be gentle with her, care for her, love her. It also represents Maya's choice to not let fear keep her from the one she loves and is able to express the love and care she feels for Lola.
