Mi primer acercamiento a la TSPO fue gracias a una novia que tuve en las épocas en las que ellos estaban promocionando el World Ska Symphony, no voy a negar que mi primera impresión fue ´Ska Japonés?!´ y nunca voy a olvidar las palabras que me dijo : no los juzgues sin haberlos escuchado. Días o semanas después fui al cyber donde ella trabajaba y me decidí a escucharlos, puse este video y ¡Boom! me volaron la mente y fue amor a primera vista y primera escucha. No dudé en ir a verlos en vivo en 2017 y fue una de las mejores noches de mi vida! Skapara, Gambatte!!!

realmente esta es la mejor banda de ska que hay!! el ehcho de que canten en japones y aun asi logre cautivar a los que no lo hablamos m parece aun mas destacable (prubea de esto es Utukushi moeru mori que t llega hasta el fondo, a base de la melodia y l la voz que encajan perfecto)...ah x cierto creo q el hecho de q puedan bailar ordenados no involucra que no sten disfrutando de la musica, lo digo para el que cree que si no mosheas no se vive ¬¬

Acabo de escuchar un poco de esta gran banda!!!... lo que considero que es de admirarse es que un ritmo con tendencias latinas que nacio de la lucha de los esclavos...haya llegado a los TOKYO... eso habla de que la música y propiamente el ska ha roto fronteras, culturas y prejuicios... El fin del ska se entremezcla con ritmos que maneja...y de alguna u otra forma llevan el mensaje que es lo que cuenta...Bien, si dan ganas de bailar libremente...

If you think it started in Africa give details please ...Buster, Morgan, Aitken, Don Drummond and all the Alpha School boys, Rico etc are the creators of the sound ...these artists would try and get the sound of rhythm n blues like the great Fats Domino or Louis Jordan but they made it their own way.And that's what we love,I agree, no matter where in the the world...and Skapa are great. Japan loves Ska and skatalites know this well.ska ska ska forever

I have this song as a regular track on their first album. It's only six tracks, but it has Their Tetris song cover, Give me a little bit of your soul, and Joy to the world at the end. I haven't seen it listed in any album lists I've seen. I got it from a friend who was visiting Japan at the time. Course the track version is great, but you gotta see it live. That's Skapara.

given that most of the ska shows around here aren't in huge stadiums like that, no. but if the venues here were bigger then i'm sure we could get quite a crowd, considering that we are, after all, talking about knoxville. plus, there are lots of popular ska bands in the states; reel big fish houses tons of people each show.
