Skarloey And Talyllyn (4 Scratch-Built G Scale Models)

My most ambitious model project of 2018 was to build not only one but 4 G-Scaled (45mm) variations of Skarloey/Talyllyn, as well as 4 2-bar slate trucks to compliment them.
-RWS Skarloey (Present) + RWS slate truck.
-Tal-Y-Llyn (Present) + Talyllyn 2-bar slate truck.
-RWS Skarloey (1864) + RWS slate truck.
-TVS Skarloey (S4 Style) + Thomas style slate truck.
Again, this isn't so much a step-by-step guide on how I made them, but more showing photos of the progress on how they were formed. I'm more than happy to help with any questions. All models are static and were made simply as display pieces.
If all goes well, and I get a decent amount of time to do so, I'll continue to make Talyllyn/Skarloey No.1-7 in annual batches, with Dolgoch/Rheneas being this year.

By the way, I am off to North Wales for my summer holiday this year, and I will be visiting the Talyllyn Railway once again as well as the other Great Little Trains Of Wales (some I've being to before, and some I haven't yet explored).

Damn Max, The level of detail on these are great, they really look like miniature models of Talyllyn. Also I realized at one point the model was a red engine with Karl on the side.

May I suggest you look into 16mm to the foot scale model narrow gauge. usually reffered to as "16 mill" or "sm32" Because that is basically what you built there.

2:25 did you know my favourite theme in it was that one with Duke I recall this theme, as it was a remix of the Viaduct and Harbour themes almost addapted out a bit. And You must had done a hard work on creating Skarloey and Talyllyn too.
