That... Happened to me.. I dated this girl (I'm a gay bean..) and eventually we met here in Paris. She stayed with me for almost a week (about 4-5 days) and when she went back to Texas I was so excited to get to see her again in the future. Well, a few months after she returned she had gotten cancer... We fought through that together and we thought she was gonna make it. As soon as she was getting better one day the doctor called her and said the cancer in her lung has grown massively.... Not long after that she passed away about 2-3 nights after the last time we video chat... I will never forget her though. She is my first love and I can't wait to see her again once my time has come

Happened to me before. A friend that I ended up getting feelings for confessed to me, and I asked him out, cut to about 2 or 3 days later, he starts ignoring me and when I asked him why or what I did wrong, he doesn't answer. wow,,, this brought me so many tears I hope I find a love just like this. little vent my relationship ended because of my parents is homophobic. I couldn’t be happy with my s/o because there was so much pressure on the both of us. It hurts so much. I’ve been scared and I realize I can never come out of the closet and be happy in my relationship because of my parents I am still in this household. I just hope I find someone who will stay with me through it all. It’s painful when you sacrifice someone your in love with so you won’t lose your family. I’ve been in pain ever since. I’m sorry for the message it’s just easier to vent when people don’t know who you irl.

I don't think being gay makes it more difficult...but I agree it is hard. I'm pleased to say my boyfriend and I have made it a year and four months despite my being in America and him being in another country. It's been difficult, and I've thought about just ending it so he could find someone close by that would love him as much as me, but then I remember that isn't possible. Nobody could ever love him as much as I do. So I put up with the sometimes aching heart, because I know that at the end of the day, a phone call between us awaits, and hearing me slowly pass out from the days tasks please him. The distance makes you work hard to keep it together, but I think that adds to the bond
