So I'm 44 and nowhere near as good as you.. I play beer league 4-5 nights a week. Since moving to bladetechs I can feel a big difference in my skating and stamina. My knees and feet hurt less after playing. Also I went from a 5/8th's cut to a 3/4. I'm 6'3 and 255lbs..

No it's a direct replacement of the steel on your skate. They are legal in all levels of play. 100's of NHL'ers use them.

flare blades are a scam, after a few sharpenings the "flare" will disappear, and then you just have normal blades.
