The title should not have anything to do with skateboarding, or they should have made the story be more about skating. If you want to see a movie about the sport, look up: Street dreams, Lords of dogtown, Grind, or thrashin.

Jesus guys! you do realise this movie was filmed over weekends with no budget and some friends, street dreams and grind and stuff are made with better equipment, actors and locations but that also gives them a higher expectation. Yea the acting is a little meh but that doesnt mean its supposed to be like a movie you seen in a theater. i thought it was great and as someone who grew up close to the area I can say that finding spots is difficult. Wow, that was really bad.(No wonder it's on youtube.) There was maybe 2 minutes of skateboarding. The acting was terrible. The story? Lets recap, some skaters go to a party, main guy gets laid and then he goes skating with his friends the next day, then at night some random gangster robs a camera from them instead of robbing a store, then the gangster shoots a guy in the head and then main guy cant get over it and is depressed and the random gangster wants to kill him and there is an undercover cop who tries to kiss the main guy????????? Not to mention what skate proof has to do with any of this? Most films make you care and feel sorry for the main guy like Eminem in 8 Mile but I was actually hoping random gangster would kill main guy at the end because I disliked him so much...I don't even remember his name
