I randomly skated that first spot like 4 years ago, I was in town for work and it was close to my hotel. There’s a bank to curb somewhere over there too if I remember. It was pretty rough if I recall correctly tho
@dadboard7 ай бұрын
Oh wow! Yeah that bank to curb is an OG spot but it’s pretty crusty these days and the business that it’s behind is not skateboard friendly so you gotta go on Sunday or after 6.
@CamaroLSskateboarding7 ай бұрын
Also, like another person mentioned about grinding down that loading dock yellow ledge spot where it meets the bank, I think a dab of bondo or quickcrete in that hole would at least make a lot of tricks more doable....

Viva La Bam season 1 episode 1: Bam tries to make Phil's day a living hell by installing a fire pole in the living room, ironing decals of hamburgers on all of Phil's clothes, replacing the toothpaste with ground meat and demolishing Phil's van. Next, Bam gets his parents out of the house by sending them to Atlantic City. As soon as Phil & April hit the road, Bam and the crew get to work converting the family home into an indoor/outdoor skate park, and invite some professional skaters over, including Tony Hawk and Bucky Lasek.

Yo love your vids man, just wanted to throw it out there. I just baught a concrete grinding wheel for my angle grinder. Dude it's a game changer. You need a angle grinder, preferably cordless, but you can grind and smooth long ledges in a few minutes compared to the rub brick, also way less effort.
@dadboard7 ай бұрын
Yeah I’m aware of those but they’re pretty noisey. Not like the brick is that quiet but grinders draw a lot of attention. I’d definitely use one for more lowkey spots though, it’s on my list!

At the nosegrind shove it spot, bet if you put in a bit of work with a rub brick, you could wear that lip down enough so it doesn't catch your wheels.

For most dung beetles, not just any poop will do. Many dung beetles specialize on the dung of particular animals, or types of animals, and simply will not touch the poo of other critters. Australians learned this lesson the hard way when the outback was nearly buried in cattle dung. Two hundred years ago, settlers introduced horses, sheep, and cattle to Australia, all grazing animals that were new to the native dung beetles. The Australian dung beetles were raised on poop from Down Under, like kangaroo poo, and refused to clean up after the exotic newcomers. Around 1960, Australia imported exotic dung beetles that were adapted to eating cattle dung, and things got back to normal.
