goal orientation. when you learn to skateboard, you learn how set a goal, plan it out, test it and see the results. the medium of the street or skateparks forces us to think and dream in a very grounded place. we build shops in our mind, specialized for specific physical tasks that reside well outside the nuance of our instincts. it's a very poignant journey because the margin for error is very high compare to most other things. you have to be physically fit, you have to be somewhere mentally all there, you have to be brave and you have to expect failure even despite all of it, knowing that there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. skateboarding is learning to accept that the grim reapers hand is always on your shoulder.

No way I find a fpv enthusiast on a skate video. Dunno if enuks will see it but definitely true. Fpv is super fun. Especially the new whoops and micro toothpicks

@@taranmehta6356 I have watched Enuks for years now. FPV has been a very natural and exciting transition from skateboarding. I still skateboard, but mostly for exercise and getting to FPV spots on the trails by where I live, and not necessarily to hit up the skate park. I fly mostly 5 inch if you look at my videos. But I also fly whoops. But the reason why became so obsessed with FPV is because these drones are like a little flying skateboards or like flying Lambo’s! Lol You get to become the 360 flip. Glad somebody else understands. Thanks for the reply. One of the best toothpicks out there is the CRUX 35 or the GEPRC phantom. What do you fly?

In Houston again now and it’s been about 3 years. The most fun and relaxing thing I could find was bass fishing. I’m not too sure if you’re into it, but it’s actually rlly addicting. If you ever get the chance maybe try it.

Just keep skateboarding 🛹 I didn't realise how much i enjoyed it until i had my lizfranc injury ( mid foot bone fractures) its been 1 year just got back to walking again. I will always be a skateboarder but feel lost without being on a board as this was my exercise, mental health to get out my own head away from the small business owner and family man, etc.. I play video games and make video edits for fun now but can't beat that feeling of everything that is skateboarding! Be it highs or lows dont worry about it you Rip on the board! Sorry to hear about your injury bro! I had a fractured ankle and torn ligaments a couple years back, I spent maybe 4-5 months off the board and then skated on it when it wasn’t ready yet, only now am I able to go skate and not feel or think about pain in my ankle Nothing beats the feeling of skateboarding ! While I was injured I dove back into art etc but there’s just something about being outside with your friends skating etc I appreciate the support mate!
