Wow! Blown away by some of that footage. Im from Scotland but popped by and skated the bowl on me holidays. That deep end is way bigger and more intimidating than it looks on camera. You gave a really good performance Jon. Its been inspiring to watch you improve over the months/years. Testemant to what you can achieve with consistency and steadily pushing your boundaries.

Hi Jon, I was there watching. I’ve tried skating the pool so I know just how tight, whipy & gnarly it is. You ripped it mate! Your progression is impressive and inspirational. I’ve been skating for 18 months after a 40+ years break. Progress is slow. I may even enter next year. It will give me a goal and the reason to keep skate through the coming winter. Yeah, it’s the best skating I’ve seen, it dosen’t come out in the vid, but the transition is not ideal for the tricks they are doing either. The 540 is very hard in that pool!

Skaters today, have it si good with all these places to skate in my skate years(late eighties/early ninties) we had to work for it when it came to skate spots..buliding half pipes in the woods,ect..very few liked skaters

Hi Amber Yes, I totally agree and I’d love to provide coverage and a celebration of the ladies skating. However many, if not all the Ladies are minors and it raises safeguarding issues. My channel is not set up for this. I’m sure with a little effort I could get releases signed etc but it’s a tricky area in this day and age, so for this one I kept it simple. It’s the same story with the youth comp. Definitely one for next year, the Ladies comp was incredible! Best Jon
