cool tip i don’t see people using: if u want ur manuals to look more realistic. hold down the stick that does the manual half way. and then slowly go up and down with the opposite stick to make it look like you’re actually balancing

the video editing reminds me of my days as a video editor on after effects. keyframes take it to a new level. especially the between keyframe action. its really technical but when you get it you might spend more time on ur clips than actually playing lol

Complete waste of 40$. Controls are hard as hell to get. And im a skater too. This game sucks. Stearing sucks, speeds and pushing is really slow. Spinning is not fast enough. Never does the tricks you want. Too hard to have some sick ass killer lines like Skate! So pretty much every aspect of the skating part sucks except the concept of Skater XL. And the graphics aren't as good. And you cant get off your board! Skate 2 and 3 are 10000% better

I absolutely love your videos! This will definitely come in handy. I can’t skate for shit in real life, but I’ve been obsessed with skateboarding since the Tony Hawk Gigantic Skatepark Tour 2001. I would have been 4 at the time :). But yeah me not being a skater, while being obsessed with the sport for as long as I can remember, I can’t ever get enough skater XL. I haven’t played session any at all but when the 1.0 is out it’s looking like it’ll be much worth it!

If you press L1/LB + Square/X it will automatically trim the clip to the last re-spawn.

Fyi, sxl replays are saved in a .replay format which cant be converted into an mp4 or any other format, so the only way to get your clips online is to record your screen with obs or whatever and then use that recording once you edit everything else out

I have the hardest time with stalefish, always get hard flip.. gotta say though when you get a line or challenge on first try it feels great.

just wait a bit before you turn the sticks to the sides, like half a second, so the game knows you arent flicking, because the flick has to happen in a short time after the pop
