Me too, but now I can do most of these tricks. When I started, I couldn’t stop. I practiced even while there was a storm outside. I took my board everywhere to practice. Even at a restaurant. Like I couldn’t stop practicing. I still do all that shit today. Now I can do all these tricks. Just don’t stop practicing

first off i love ur skateboarding vids but skateboarding literally helped me completely get off of and beat my heroin addiction, i had to go to a methadone clinic but for a while but im 5 years clean but it i gained some weight which made the muscle memory somewhat difficult but i wanna thank not only you but a friend of mine named kevin whos really great at it and for giving me my again 1st deck after beating the stuff. also im from jacksonville FL where KONA skatepark is where they had the 1st half pipe and where tony hawk bam and many other pros have made many appearances.

Im starting to get into skateboarding, how long does it take to do some basic tricks like pop shovets and medium tricks like kick flips? thx

It really depends on how quickly you learn and your passion for skateboarding. It can take anywhere from a few days to several months, even if you're comfortable with your board. The key thing is that you have the right foot position. Then learn the movements. Just keep practicing, and look up several different tutorials along the way.
