I'm a 3000 year old elf lich necromancer and I can really appreciate how this music hails back to the most ancient roots of your human music traditions in an energetically appealing manner. It really takes me back to the 90's. like 293 B.C specifically, when that plague hit rome and so the senate built a temple dedicated to Asclepius. Man that was a good year.

@patrikhjorth32916 жыл бұрын
Finally, it clicked! Kelli's deadpan delivery of the last two lines reminded me of something else, but I couldn't figure out what... until now. It reminds me of some of Brian Molko's spoken vocals on the album "Meds", or possibly "Sleeping With Ghosts". This is _not_ me saying "Bah, you ripped off Placebo", because you _very_ clearly didn't. But Molko is one of my favourite singers, and you reminding me of him is a sign of greatness, at least in my book. Edit: I'm trying to find a way of expressing this that doesn't come off as patronizing, because that is very much _not_ how it's meant. In the past... very long while, it's been difficult for me to find new music that creates the same response I used to get from music back then. Your music, particularly what you've released in the past couple of years, does that. Thank you.
