I think the doomwheel is much better than you have it because its function has changed buuuuut i do think its points should go down like most of this book. Great video! To me carrying an archwarlock over an grey seer is just because it allows you tu use two units of rattlings, i think it is the big difference

Won't covering fire still only be usable by one unit? A command can only be used once per phase. Even if it doesn't cost anything, it's still being used.

I think that plaugemonks are better then the credit you give them. They are just clan rats that do not come back but hurt the enemy when they die. For a screen that is pretty good.

A shame alot of my collection is in overcosted or meme/bad warscroll tier, especially since much of my recent purchases were based off of my first game vs Gitz where i got absolutely slaughtered (it was the other players first game too). List was (Skryre Detachment) Grey Seer Master Moulder Warlock Engineer 40 clanrats (2 squads) Warplock Jezzails Ratling Warpblaster Warp Lightning Cannon 10 Stormvermin 3 Rat Ogors 2 Hell Pit Abominations After that game i discussed with someone and decided to get Vizzik Skour, the Spearhead (with the stormfiends), and a Warp Grinder. Its not looking good for me haha.

Hi, great video! How exactly do doom flayers compare to rat ogors and what makes one better than the other? Besides additional move and lower price, ogors outdamage flayers in almost all scenarios and ogors can catch a lot of buffs as they are infantry. Would be curious what exactly you like about flayers more. Really liked your video and agree with most of your list! Cheers

@@MichaelDoleschal Actually if you run the number, doomflayers base do more damage than rat ogors! I was surprised to find that out but it’s true. If you include the shooting rat ogors do slightly more, but base with few or no buffs, flayers do more. Other than that, the speed is the biggest factor. Rat ogors are so slow which hurts them so much, they almost cannot be used offensively, flayers can.

@@Mech_Rat_AOS why would you ever not include shooting if it is shoot in combat? That is simply a fourth attack profile or am i missing something about the shoot in combat rule? Every unit you are in combat with you can attack with the gun as well before attacking in combat phase. I do however agree with movement being a big issue with a melee damage unit.

@@damianone4404 I didn’t! But in my experience, they are so good that this isn’t a limiting factor for them. Additionally, I’m usually bringing back something else anyway. I’ve played probably 50 games with rat ogors, and I’ve brought them back maybe twice. It’s just better to rez clanrats and ratling guns.

Our only level Priest 2 is the brand new, ultra expensive model that dies in a heartbeat...Fancy that. Plaguepack all the way. But when it comes to it, I don't like the way casting is handled for this faction in this edition at all. Four wizards lost a level each. The lores are are limited (WTAF happened to WARP LIGHTNING. I mean Skaven and Warp Lightning go hand in hand!) Not anymore. Everything is now tied to a specific, big, expensive model now. Things that Skaven have had for 3 decades are gone now, or nerfed. Towards the end of 3rd edition, the screaming bell and plague furnace were finally being used in lists, now they're right back to being just weak. This edition seems to have gutted casting and stuffed it full of the endless spells. And not many are happy with that at my FLGS. Oddly, this seems to have increased the popularity of Path to Glory games with folks unhappy about the nuclear proliferation of manifestations. And I'm okay with that.
