I own 2 boats and fish tournaments as well and yeah, you can get your boat on the trailer without doing that. All power loading does is ruin the ramp. Most ramps in Michigan prohibit power loading for that reason.

For me it's just easier to power load because i usually fish by myself and the ramps at the lakes I fish are made of concrete all the way 20 ft past the ramp so it doesn't ruin the ramp as much as it would if it were a sand bottom

You can tow bass boats with numerous brands and sizes of trucks. But if you have to drive all over the country and have sponsors pay for your fuel why not drive a huge comfy diesel rig. Think about the drive from Sacramento to Georgia

Dee Jay I mean like stock not like mods or anything like that, now if u have a stock 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder now were talking, but if ur hauling that with a stock 4 cylinder it will definitely blow your transmission right off

krystian ramos Lots of manufacturers make turbo 4's stock, like the Ford ecoboost. That's the engine I used as example for the power numbers I gave.
