Even in times of war, when your releases are released, there is a sense of joy. Thank you very much.

Loved the series, looking forward to the launch video. My preference is for the strip build version. Hope you decide for the next build series to be the Racing Kayak. As always, thanks for sharing.

Hello Nick, what a fantastic result. The kayak looks really good. Great work!! Thank you for the opportunity to accompany this process, it was a great pleasure to watch. I'm looking forward to the next videos. Unfortunately we don't have the big Atlantic on our doorstep, only the small "Bodensee" but my buddy and I are thinking about whether we shouldn't build a sea kayak too?!? This series has really motivated us, maybe we can still do it. Let's see how it goes. All the best to you and much success. Good health and best wishes. Thank you very much

Thanks for another great build series. All the extra efforts of filming and editing, let alone just building the boat, as well as having an extra person in your shop space, are very much appreciated. I saw some footage of you and Bill doing the test run(?); the boat looks great and Bill looked pretty happy to be in it.

I'm varnishing my strip Petrel now, so this episode is great timing. Excited for the next steps, and it's great to get a refresher on the details. Thanks for this video series!

I see you tied the two ends of the shock cord together. Is there a clamp of sorts for joining the two ends that you might recommend to adjust the tension of the shock cord? PS. Looking forward to seeing you and the CLC team at the Wooden Boat Show next month in Port Townsend!

Hi Bill, I like the hog ring solution. While it is not adjustable, it is secure and relatively low profile.

Any concerns about waterproofing the holes for the hardware?

They may weep a small amount of water when they are submerged, but it is not enough to worry about.
