Fantasy Island is the best value theme park in the UK. It cost me about £22 to get on all the rides! it deserves atleast 3-4 stars with the 2 steel coasters Millenium and Odyssey

I lived there 22 years ago, well, I lived 7 miles inland but was in Skeg a lot. There was loads to do there and I loved living where we lived. There's always something to do in Skeg and fantasy island was so much fun. The market under the roller coaster was my favourite market anywhere. I've not been back since but have fond memories of the area.

I moved here to Chapel St Leonard's Skegness. I love it..your report says ìts noisy it's no more noisy than other seaside places views got to Dorset. Pier will the sea look different further out. At our village has Indian Chinese, fantastic Italian and good fish and chips. The only part I agree with is we could do with more clothes shops primarily would be great.

Skegness is one of the best seaside resorts in Lincolnshire as well as the country along with Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe etc.

Ridiculous comments..Skeggy is great. Haddock and chips £4.50!!!!! Great aquarium, seal sanctuary, friendly locals..Butlins up the road, flat for walking and mobility scooters. Tons of amusement arcades, theatre on the seafront. I love it...and my wife and I are considering relocating there.

Like everywhere it has problems and far from perfect but I enjoyed working there mid to late 90s and made good, lasting friends there.

I have to admit, the Pier is in a shocking state. The platform probably hasn't been cleaned or painted for 30 years, the railings are covered in rust. It should be the show piece of any seaside town but thanks to lazy owners never gets touched. If it wasn't for Rhyl then i would say this is the worst.

We had a static caravan. Brand new. Very nice BUT. the yearly rent insurance maintenance out weigh the odd cost of a weekend or holiday. Think of it as having a expensive motor home parked on your drive only to use it couple times a year. Spending the rest brushing the leaves and moss of it when sitting idle. 🥴🇬🇧But you can’t but a bit of Skeggy. Especially for us Leicester folk.

Skeggy is horrible and I would agree with everything about it but nearby Mablethorpe is very nice. Food was terrible, rude locals, noisy and just ugly to look at

It's got a seafront. A town and a residential area. So as Blackpool. You can find rude people anywhere. Even where you live.

@@gazza2933 Mablethorpe has a better seafront A small town and a residential area Rude people are everywhere so I agree on that...and yes even where I live too in a city BUT I found some people in Skegness far more rude and ignorant compared to what I've experienced in Mablethorpe where the locals are wonderful and polite

Gibraltar Point is a fantastic place for walking, bird watching or taking the dogs out. And some good chippies in the town.

Thirty years ago it was a great place to take the kids for the day on Sunday, but now it’s bloody grim, dirty, tatty and cheap. Even the good chippies are now just greasy spoon dumps. And, you do see some sights!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

At least the sea doesn't disappear to somewhere near Ireland. It doesn't rain every bloody day, as it does at a certain resort on the west coast! Skegness is only a small resort. Size isn't everything. The resort is still a firm favourite with visitors from Yorkshire and The Midlands. Best beaches in the UK. Lincolnshire is a sparsely populated county and we are all supposed to be a load of 'carrot crunchers' So we won't mind all of this crap! It you look far enough for negativity. That is what you will find. By the way ,nice video. Wasn't that bad afterall was it. ⛱🐬🦭
