I love the late 80s and early 99s feel of the show. Brings back so many great feelings. This show is going to be Fantastic. Also I feel that if this was released in the 80s this would probably be one of the greatest kid adventures ever, but it's coming out in today's day and age, so it probably will get the Solo treatment. even with all its issues, I LOVE ALL STAR WARS!!!!

Honestly, my excitement level has dropped to a 5. I'm being hopeful but more on the "wait and see" mode. This trailer, in my opinion, the synth background music, the "Major Tom" song, and the Goonies/Stranger Things vibes makes me wonder what is the point of this show and how does it fit in star wars. They could have jist made a separate scifi movie.

Im super excited for this show. I think you nailed it about Jude Laws character being a pirate and using the kids for his own gain. I think the old republic credits were found either in the old jedi temple or the ship they find. I didn't realize that Droid was watching the kids dad, so kudos to you man noticing that little detail. Maybe that planet they live on is a planet that they shape and mold future clone soldiers or stormtroopers..just a thought! By the way, i do not think Cal Kestis is showing up on this show lol but it would be an awesome reveal!

This sounds like a rerun of how the ancient sith came across the republic. After two kids stumbled upon them, and the sith used their navcomputor to find the route back to the republic to attack them.. This sounds like the reason why Jude Law could using the kids...to get to their home planet that no ones heard of?.

Now I looked at the views and well... not much. Now I'm absolutely sure this is going to be a huge problem. This is the result of people not caring about it. You could blame marketing for not encouraging the consumer to care, but let's be real this won't be for everyone because not everyone likes this type of story. And let's don't hide the fact that what came before is also important and I think Skeleton Crew will become at least a partial victim of the ricochet from dramas with the Acolyte.

I am not as pessimistic as you. Not a single older SW movie or show is equally liked or disliked by everyone. People are different and so are their favorites. I believe this show will find its new fans especially in kids and teens. And how should this be a "huge problem"? I

They might be from the separate galaxy in the ahsoka series, the old Republic credit could be from the ship itself. They said in Ahsoka about tales of the other galaxy, maybe the old Republic jedi had been there or at least tried to get there. Maybe when they activated the ship it set a course back to the star wars galaxy because it was pre-programmed

Well Ahsoka went to a different galaxy but I'm 98% sure it has been confirmed to be in the regular Star Wars galaxy!

I wasn't keen on the idea of this show at first. It was mainly the whole suburban city thing, but I love The Goonies and Stranger Things. This show is starting to grow on me. DISNEY!! I'll say this: I did not know that the new planet that Our 4 protagonists live on is an UNKNOWN PLANET within The SWU. For the citizens of the galaxy/The New Republic to not even be aware of this planet's existence, makes for a VERY INTERESTING concept. That's certainly a "new wrinkle" in Star Wars. Well, considering that, at the end of the trailer, Our Heroes and Heroines find a vault (straight outta Indiana Jones) with many "treasures" in it, that certainly makes me suspect that these treasures go way back in the history of The SWU. Do some of these treasures go back as far as The High Republic and The Old Republic? Could any of these relics include Force artifacts, inc. ones of The Jedi, The Sith, The Zeffo, and The Rakata? I swear, after seeing this new trailer, if We don't see or get allusions to Hondo, Maz, Phee, Aphra, etc., I am going to be severely P.O.
