I am so sorry you're going through this. It's difficult, I know for different reasons as no two conditions are alike. Scriptures do not promise that everyone will be healed from illness and the prime example of that truth is the Apostle Paul. He endured some type of devastating illness that God refused to heal as it was meant to keep him humble after being brought into heaven. As believers, the one thing that we are promised is to have our souls healed from the ravages of sin, but not health. It says in Romans 8:28: "And we know that in all things God works all things together for the good of those who love him and who have been called according to his purpose. That does not say that God will work all things together for the way Believers want. He works them together for our good. And for his glory. It is NOT from a lack of faith either. I know. I prayed for years to be healed and had no doubt God could do it. He saw fit to not because he had other things in mind for me. I have been a chronic pain patient since 1991 and my journey started in 1991 when I was in my early 30s and had always been fairly healthy before that. That year changed my life forever. My husband and I could not, have kids, which we wanted. He would have been a great father. It took a year for a diagnosis and 9 for doctors to find an effective treatment for me. I was in so much pain that I wanted to die and I begged God almost daily to either take or heal me. He did neither. It has not been easy living in near constant pain for over 3 decades, but It has been rewarding. There are many days where I wondered where I would get the strength to continue. Jesus carried me. He blessed me through the least likely people and God has used me to bless others. It is easy to tell someone to just have more faith or read a particular Bible verse - I know people mean well. It is one thing to be healthy and another to live what we have lived. I pray for your healing and more importantly, I pray for Jesus to give you strength to win the race and to be a blessing to someone else. God bless you!
