Sketch to Page Scrapbook Process Video - with 1-2-3 Sketch for Single Page Layout! (February 2018)

Watch as I create a one scrapbook layout from start to finish quickly and easily in about 20 minutes!
Each month I design a single page 1-2-3 sketch for you using 1 piece of cardstock or album page as the base, 2 paper shapes to give some color and interest, and at least three photos along with space for title, journaling and embellishments! In the video I'l go over the sketch and the dimensions of the paper pieces, and then walk you through my entire process of laying out the paper pieces, photos, embellishments & finishing details.

Fun and great layout Noreen! Love the geometric paper and you're right, they can be very overwhelming. But you made it work! For the second page I also liked when it was sideways. That will work too :)

really liked this page. thanks so much. I've been trying to find a 12 inch 0 center ruler...have not found one yet. I did find an 18inch but it is just too long. I liked the way you demonstrated its use for letter placement

another great idea! When using the foam square, are you able to use page protectors and once the page is in an album does the foam backed embellishment get squished?

Hi Liz! Definitely! The foam is already quite thin...just enough to pop the item off the page and create a slight shadow underneath...that's really what creates the depth and dimension. You can certainly get the finished page inside a protector and since the foam is already condensed, it doesn't squish up too much more. I can't do a layout or a project without them these days! Have fun!
