Comment part 2 since I realized I forgot the art block question. One thing I do is find art challenges online (whether or not they are prompts or even those that are like "draw with only three colors, etc."). If you have art friends, maybe grab a few and organize an art session! Sometimes it helps to have your friends challenge you a bit too or even just having company. When I get Art block/lack of motivation, I take a nap lol Like, a 5-10 minute nap is all I need, because sometimes I vaguely remember what I’ve dreamt about, and I’ll try to draw something incorporating that dream. Or sometimes, I start imagining scenarios for my OCs, something silly, derpy, or etc, and I’ll draw that for a while It also helps when I watch movies, write my OCs lore (I know not a lot of people do this, but it’s really fun to look back on sometimes), or even making stupid scribbles in your sketchbook Doing art challenges are fun as well! Like drawing without seeing the colors, drawing gender bent OCs, etc, etc Hope this helped :)

This is an interesting way to spark inspiration, I've never seen anyone do it this way (the dream part, I mean!) That's really creative! Funny enough I have a checklist in my sketchbook and one of the things on it is to draw something from a dream/nightmare kind of like LavenderTowne did.

Have you thought about getting a separate hard drive for your computer? I use one to store all my footage, it’s 1TB so that way it doesn’t take space on my laptop :) I use sandisk extreme pro since I travel a lot and it’s more drop proof

I have done that before but unfortunately that is what usually causes my footage to get corrupt! Maybe I will look into it more! Thank you for the suggestion!

@@Rinspiritart oh that's so weird! I've never had that happened before. I know to not unplug the hard drive but instead make sure to eject it first or it could cause issues. idk how you film, and I've never had an issue transferring data from my sd card to hard drive, but I've been using Camo recently to record from my phone directly to my computer and that's worked fine so maybe its something to look into if that system could work well, I know you can do the same thing for certain cameras with abs too :)

Oh I wanna make a meet the artist page now! I might even make a video about it 👀 For motivation I don't really have anything. Art is like my whole life and I never seem to run out of things to draw, when I do, I just go and watch art videos until I get inspiration or I work on my comic if nothing sparks interest. And if none of this works, I write instead, since I have both a comic and a novel in process. Thanks for the video! I'm always in art block but to get motivation I usually take a break and or watch art videos and go on Instagram(my home page is mainly art) or Pinterest and see some art to get me exited. And it usually works unless I'm lazy or procrastinating.
