I really love your flip throughs and seeing your vacation through your art. I feel like any time I’m on vacation, it’s so rushed that there would be little time to sit down and do art. I think I would like to plan a chill vacation where sipping coffee and doodling is a priority. Sending you good thoughts and vibes while you’re in the UK. It sounds like a tough time for your family, and it’s lovely that you’re able to be there with them. ❤

Hi Rachel! Thank you! I will be honest - I feel like I don't get as much art done as I'd like to on holiday, but I guess it's about compromise. My fiancé loves to explore and take photos and move onto the next exciting sight/site, whereas I'd like to sit and draw the space and really see it to solidify the memory. It helps that he loves to read books, so we have - over the years - managed to work it so that we find spots with a view for him to look at and read while having enough interest for me to draw. I highly recommend solo trips where you can coffee and art... One of my resolutions this year is to dedicate at least one full day per month somewhere new for me alone to just 'art'! 😍 And thank you. It has been a tough year, but the verdict was the best we could get, and we can now move on. ❤️

Another tip for a handy way to carry a little water is use a screw top pill bottle. Thats what i have in my travel kit xx

@ I do sew but I also like to purchase from people who know how to make it and I like to support. My kids always ask me if I actually like sewing since I swear so much when I do it! Love your sketches

I’m curious- were the colors you picked from Morocco inspiration photos helpful? I thought it was such a good idea that I started one for myself for an upcoming trip to Bologna. I don’t have Photoshop, but i figured out how to sort of do it on Freeform. Thanks for your creative tips and inspiration- I enjoy your channel.

I actually found it super helpful. Going through that process of picking colors, and only taking the art materials I showed (in the previous video) meant I knew what to pull out and when. I didn't feel like I was 'missing' anything while away, and I'll definitely approach future trips in this way too. And thank you - it makes me happy knowing that my channels helps and inspires others. ❤️

i loved this flip through. the creating "copies" of drawn pieces by pushing one page on another i find so genius, i am going to steal it also for sploging the backround. Your sketches are beautiful! and i wish you and your family the very best!
