I can't believe how lucky I am to have found your channel. You are so talented and I absolutely love your content. Thank you for taking the time to explain things in such detail so that we can learn. It's rare that I can actually follow along with a tutorial because so often I feel like the artist just says "here I am doing this" or "now I'm adding this" and they don't explain the technique or they edit the video to skip ahead to the next section without showing how they did it all. You're both a great teacher and a great artist. Love to see a new post from you!

As always excellently done. It was really great how you explained about drawing the lines when your hands aren't warmed up. I have never heard it explained that way. I got to watch this while waiting for everyone that is going to help decorate for the wedding to arrive. My daughter and family all tested negative. Thank God. It was a very bad cold for all. Though we still don't know if they will all come because the youngest is still sick with the cold. Very frustrating.

I personally use pentel for my cheap watercolours but I've tried a few and they work fine 😊 the fundamentals and techniques are more important than the supplies

I just love autumn and your doodle page is fantastic. 2 questions, what was the pink water color case you showed at the beginning and where did you get your brush/pen holder set? I love them.

The case is just a tin pencil case that I use for my watercolours, I made sure the measurement was as close as possible to the sizes of my half pans even though it's still not too accurate xD And the holder, I bout at something like a.. store called carrefour kinda like a walmart I guess? I live in Indonesia, so its easier to find those types of hand crafts :)

So when u make pen art u can use pencils first, I thought it was cheating, that I needed to draw from pen direct, this makes me feel better.

I don't see why not. "Cheating" in art only depends on your goals. If you want to learn to draw straight with pen but you use pencil first, and tell ppl you only use pen without pencil, that's cheating xD. Like using a ruler is acceptable, but because I personally want to train my muscles to draw lines freehand, then I (myself only) would consider that I'm cheating when I use a ruler 😅 hope it make sense
