The fact that you can paint such amazing things from imagination blows my mind!!! Also even though you haven’t done landscapes very long they’re gorgeous!!! Your grasp on greens is very impressive and skilled! That’s one of the hardest parts of landscape painting is greens. I feel so inspired to go paint! Thank you for sharing!

Love it! I hope I could start my canson sketchbook too. Have a hard time finishing em but yep, it's not about pressuring ourselves to make something "perfect" but the overall journey in making art and expressing ourselves in it. Congrats to you for finishing it Emily!

I love all of them but I would love to see a tutorial of the painting you did in your book on the water with the stars at night. I didn't catch the page number but you referred to the painting as a galaxy of stars. It's beautiful Emily. I am so glad I came across your channel. I am getting back into painting again with acrylics and I do not consider myself a strong painter by any means so I thought I would watch some tutorials to gain some inspiration and learn some techniques :) I am really enjoying your tutorials.

My sketchbooks look like a disorganized mess especially my old illustration books haha, there would be a half drawn face or random arm than blank space, I use to go into a new sketchbook hoping to create a theme with a nice organized look, but that's not often what happens honestly it's been hard to sort of let go of the idea that my sketchbooks have to look polished especially when sharing online but I'm slowly getting a bit better at allowing myself to make mistakes and simply practice. I'm aware that as artist we tend to see flaws in our work that perhaps a viewer may not immediately notice but to my eyes you're practices paintings look lovely even the loose spontaneous stuff look great! you are clearly a skilled artist. sketchbook tours are satisfying to watch it's nice to see how other artists work in there practice books ☮️❤✨

I think you should consider doing larger format paintings for the tall cloud in the night sky on page 3 and the alien/cactus, because they're both 😍😍😍

I often prefer my quick thumbnail sketches and paintings more than the finished piece, so now I’ve stopped doing them and just go straight for it haha 😂😂
