the uploads are getting more & more consistent (i hope, i wish ) 😭 what made me smile to day is actually realizing how wonderful it is to just be a woman. idk how to explain it but as an english major, i will try my best to encapsulate it. i feel like there is something so joyful and fulfilling into just listening to the songs from the playlists you've created, saving pictures to your endless pinterest boards, screaming taylor swift's lyrics all around the house, and giving your girl besties advice on beauty and getting ready without tearing each other down. i just realized this earlier because growing up, i feel like i was kinda forced to hide femininity (??? if that makes sense), but now, i feel like when someone says "ang kikay mo" i wouldn't be offended or ashamed. everything feels lighter and easier when you're you. 💗

I am currently seating in Max’s tagaytay overlooking the taal, drinking iced coffee and reading “Nick and June Were Here” and I was reminded that life can be good. Finals just ended and I feel extremely anxious but I am so happy that I’m taking some time to enjoy my view and read again (I have not read for fun in monthsss and have only been reading histology and physics books since the start of the year). I had a really challenging term because I fractured my ankle and had to stay in my condo alone for weeks, so being out and enjoying life made me smile as it reminded me to appreciate life a lil bit more 🌼🫶🏻

what made me smile today: I met this young girl at work who told me about her stuffed animal, his name was Mr. Piggy. (he was a pig) She told me his birthday was two days ago! I told him happy birthday and then she told me that her mom also said happy birthday to Mr. Piggy. That made me smile. Then, she told me her two older sisters didn't wish him a happy birthday, which made her sad.. she told me her mom comforted her and since she said happy birthday to him, it was good enough. She said she told her mom in the moment that "no matter what happens, I will always feel safe with you, I love you." That really made my heart so warm and made me smile so much. I was really about to cry because of this really sweet girl. Seeing children happy and with a loving family just makes me more happy than words can describe

BEEN WAITING FOR YOUR SKETCHBOOK TOUR OMG 🤩 something that made me smile today: a dog in the jeep! 🐶❤ after going to the palengke for grocery (because i wanted to save more money compared if i do my grocery in the supermarket mall) i rode a jeep back to my dorm. i was so stressed because it was so hot but then upon riding the jeep, one passenger was holding a small shih tzu and it was so cute!! 🥺 the dog looked at me the entire time so i was also smiling the entire time new furry friend acquired 🥰
