Plans, permits, approvals...nimby's are the hurdles of building development for decades, regardless of housing shortages.
@SketchDesignDevelopment8 күн бұрын
@lexnite22 I couldn't agree more. The process is so cumbersome, and if there is any hope of dealing with the housing problem, there needs to be a complete change.

@@SketchDesignDevelopment look at arvin hadad, he got his new idea of criticizing mansions and its far more popular then all these mansions tour just trying to sell sell sell. Ill give you a hint, there is something NOBODY has done so far. Showing nice mansions AND talking about the practical matters as in how much and what upkeep costs, what are the daily chores, what doess it take to actually run a house in that class, pool, lawns, cleaning, COST OF UTILITIES, insurances etc etc. 99.99 of all house channels just show the mansions, arvin is the only one who critiques the flaws but nobody tells the grittynitty costs and efforts to maintain a place like this. Most people watching these channels just want to see nice houses but they also wonder, what does it actually take to own and run it?

@@SketchDesignDevelopment I did mention a more lenghtly suggestion as to what still doesnt exist out there in the house tour video niche? I think I write it as a comment in another video.

Brentwood home very nice. I think there is a comparable for the 2nd in West Hollywood that offers a more elevated level of luxury and amenities.
@SketchDesignDevelopmentАй бұрын
The Hollywood Home was substantially more expensive.

that nightingale house has been for sale for 3+ years. It's way overpriced for house with no setback, unsolvable privacy issues, etc.
@SketchDesignDevelopmentАй бұрын
I agree it's overpriced and some other issues. Architecturally, it was great. The letdown for me was the interior design

The house in West Hollywood isn't worth $32,000,000.
@SketchDesignDevelopment4 күн бұрын
@alexanderlouie4134 what do you think it's worth?
@alexanderlouie41344 күн бұрын
At $32,000,000, this property should showcase groundbreaking modern architecture-ideally designed by a visionary like Sir Norman Foster or SAOTA. Instead, it looks like the standard box, uninspired designs common among quick-profit developers we see in California lately. I wouldn’t pay more than $19,995,000 for it.

@alexanderlouie4134 intresting prospective. It will be interesting to see what it sells for
